Mathematics, BA
For a student taking a major in mathematics (BA), the recommended sequence for the first four semesters is course, course, course and course. In either the first or second semester the student should also complete course or course. In addition, course should be taken in one of the first four semesters.
Students planning to do graduate work in mathematics should work closely with an adviser to plan their upper-division electives.
Credit is not allowed for both course and course.
Requirements
The program of study requires a minimum of 28 hours, with a grade of C- or better, on a 120-hour degree consisting of:
