Long Description (Catalog Description)
Prerequisite: MATH 10273 with a grade of C- or better, or MATH 10054 with a grade of C- or better, or a score of at least 3 on the AP Precalculus exam, or a score of at least 600 on the SAT Math exam, or a score of at least 24 on the ACT Math exam, or a passing score on the Applied Calculus Placement Test (after receiving a grade less than C- in MATH 10273, the Calculus Placement Test cannot be used to satisfy the prerequisite). The elements of calculus, with applications to business and economics. Students are expected to have mathematical background equivalent to college algebra or two years of high school algebra. Notes: Credit will not be given for both MATH 10283 and MATH 10524.
