Prerequisites: Must be a Business major with Junior standing and have completed MANA 30153 or MANA 30250 and MANA 40250 with a grade of at least C. Permission of the Department is required for non-business majors. Leadership Minors must be currently enrolled in or have completed MANA 30833 with a grade of at least C or have permission from the Department. Modern workplaces bring together individuals with a wide range of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. Successful leaders/followers must navigate this reality, addressing the challenges that can arise when coordinating across differences while also leveraging the benefits of strong climates and cultures. The course will focus on practical application of how organizations maximize opportunities across stakeholders from different backgrounds and with different needs.
