Long Description (Catalog Description)
Prerequisites: Admission to the College of Education as an Accelerated Masters student. This course explores how societal forces (e.g., interlocking systems of oppression) shape education through the works of influential thinkers from diverse philosophical, historical, geographical, intersectional, linguistic, and cultural contexts. Students learn through lectures, readings, discussion and collaborative assignments.
