Prerequisites: ENGR 40223 or GEOL 40423. Oil and gas are essential sources of energy in the modern world. They are found in subsurface reservoirs in many challenging environments. Modern reservoir simulators are computer programs that are designed to model fluid flow in reservoirs. Applied reservoir simulation is the use of computer programs to help understand and forecast the performance of oil and gas problems. (Crosslisted as ENGR 40223/GEOL 40443.)
