Long Description (Catalog Description)

Prerequisites: One approved CRES-attribute course or instructor permission. Students will have a firsthand experience learning about community-based research methods that address how to effectively advance research with community in mind. They will examine these topics through intersecting lenses of race, gender, and class. Students can use the research that is developed in this course as the first part of a Capstone project, Honors Thesis, McNair Scholar's research, writing sample for graduate/law school or other program of interest.
