Long Description (Catalog Description)
This course introduces students to various subjects relating to culture and community formation. Students are also introduced to topics that enhance their intercultural competence. They will build skills such as: knowledge of multicultural histories, ability to interact productively with diverse groups, self-understanding through reflection, and application of these competencies as they are enacted in organizations such as business, schools, healthcare spaces, social services, media, and more.
