Long Description (Catalog Description)

This course provides students with the knowledge to develop an understanding of regular, lifeong physical activity as part of a healthy lifestyle. The course focuses on the health-related components of fitness: cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength and endurance, flexiblitly, and body composition. Designed for students with varying levels of experience, it promotes safe and effective exercise practices and provides the knowledge necessary to design personalized training programs for lifelong fitness. (This course is only offered as P/NC)
