Prerequisite: SOWO 10833 or permission of instructor. The course focuses on physical, cognitive and socioemotional development during emerging to late adulthood. It critically examines the effects of trauma, identity characteristics, group membership and marginalization on healthy aging. Although the course is part of a 2-course sequence, it can be taken independently, It can also be taken concurrently, before, or after SOWO 30843.
