Long Description (Catalog Description)
Prerequisites: SOWO 10833 or permission of instructor. Students will learn about various forms of addiction, including the biological, psychological, and social factors that contribute to addiction, and the anticipated outcomes of addiction. This course emphasizes how social workers can address addiction through intervention across the micro, mezzo, and macro levels of practice.
