This course examines theories and methods of social work intervention, with an emphasis on intervening with justice-involved clients. Students will develop skills that can be applied to practice with individuals, families, and groups in both community-based and institutional criminal justice settings. This course is most relevant for students who are Criminal Justice and Social Work majors and minors (course may be offered as CRJU or SOWO credit).
