Prerequisites: Junior or above undergraduate standing or graduate standing. This course provides a comprehensive overview of the current and emerging applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare. Students will learn about AI-powered tools and technologies used in hospitals, clinics, and research settings, including AI-driven diagnostic systems, robotic surgery, predictive analytics for disease diagnosis and management, and AI-assisted drug discovery. The course will emphasize practical applications and case studies, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of how AI is transforming healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. Ethical implications and challenges related to AI adoption in healthcare will also be addressed. This course is designed for students with an interest in the practical implementation of AI in medicine.
