An intensive overview of significant milestones in the development of entertainment media with a primary focus on film and television. Examines significant historical contexts (industrial, cultural, technological) in which media have been produced in the United States and elsewhere. This course is designed for majors; the minimum acceptable grade is a 2.0 "C".
