Long Description (Catalog Description)

Prerequisites: Graduate status in the Department of Environmental and Sustainability Sciences or permission of instructor. This course is designed to teach the basics of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments for students seeking a career in environmental consulting. At the completion of the course, students will understand the basics of performing environmental site assessments, the environmental regulatory framework, and the fundaments of site investigation. Students will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge they gain to real-life situations throughout the class.
