Prerequisites: The class is open to all students admitted to the Neeley School of Business. Students in their First Year enroll in their second semester on campus, or a subsequent semester; transfer students admitted to Neeley may enroll in their first semester on campus, or a subsequent semester. This course provides students seeking a business major with direction and guidance regarding: 1) the major and career selection and exploration process; 2) organizing their internship search; and 3) developing a professional portfolio that will equip them with skills and resources to discover and explore professional opportunities that align with their interests, values, and skills. Students will engage with recruiters, alumni, and Neeley students across a variety of industries and majors to learn about career paths, recruiting timelines, and industry trends. Students will familiarize themselves with Neeley's resources and determine a personalized plan for career exploration and development.
