Long Description (Catalog Description)
Prerequisites: INSC 20263 with a C or better or concurrent enrollment in INSC 20263. This course is an introduction to the technology supporting the creation and use of digital assets (e.g., blockchain), supporting technologies (e.g., defi, payment rails, and decentralized IDs), and the business case for and application of these technologies. Students completing the three classes INSC 30263, INSC 30273, and INSC 30283 with at least a C earn a fintech certificate designation.
