Prerequisites: PORT 20503 or equivalent. This course focuses on the language and culture of Brazil. Through exposure to authentic material such as essays, chronicles, short stories and film, students will use the Portuguese language toexplore a variety of topics ranging from personal anecdotes to societal and cultural issues that are relevant to understanding Brazil. Class is taught entirely in Portuguese.
