Prerequisites: GEOL 10113 should be completed or in progress. All students who are new geology majors must take this course. All new geology majors will be introduced to the Geology Faculty, their areas of research and teaching,and the expectations of the Faculty. Majors will also be introduced to the department, its facilities, expectations for field trips and work, and information on careers and areas of the geosciences.
