Prerequisites: Admission to the graduate program in English. Offering a theoretical foundation in Black feminist thought alongside current literacy andeducational texts related to race, gender, and sexuality, the course centers the unique contributions of Black Feminist thought and its transformative potential for classrooms, schools, and communities. Student cannot receive credit for WRIT 55173 and ENGL 80623.
