Long Description (Catalog Description)

Prerequisites: WGST 20003. This seminar is designed for students completing the TCU Women & Gender Studies major, minor, or emphasis. As an upper-division course, it will involve a heavy dose of critical thinking, reading, and writing; consider the history, theories, and methodologies of the field; and assume a high level of student discussion. This course will trace significant feminist, queer, and gender studies histories and explore the impact these diverse traditions have on praxis in a variety of settings (activist, professional, political, interpersonal).
