Introduction to the Digital Humanities

Long Description (Catalog Description)
This class provides an overview of the different types of digital methodologies available to the humanities student and scholar and introduces students to how humanities questions may be addressed using digital methods. Though there are many ways to approach the digital humanities, this class will focus on three specific areas of digital scholarship: archives and editions, text analysis, and digital map making. No previous experience in technology or programming is required.
