Prerequisites: MARK 30153, must be a declared business major or permission of instructor. Design Thinking, or user-centered design, is a framework and mindset for creative problem solving that prioritizes user needs. In this course, students apply design thinking through qualitative and quantitative research methods, observations, user personas, co-creation workshops, prototyping, and usability testing, to uncover insights and guide the creation of products, services, and ideas through hands-on design challenges.
