Prerequisites: ENGL 10803, ENGL 20803, and at least one 10000- or 20000-level ENGL/WRIT/CRWT course. An introduction to Asian American literary culture and the many histories, geographies, and experiences that shape it. Explores how Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, Korean, Hawaiian, South Asian, and Southeast Asian American literatures have reflected and given form to the panethnic identity Asian American.
