Prerequisites: 2.5 GPA in the Sociology major, completion of 12 credit hours of SOCI courses and approval of instructor. This course provides sociology majors with in-class instruction and supervised placement opportunities in public or private organizations. Students gain practical knowledge and work-related experiences that connect sociological training with potential career paths. Student activities mayinvolve work both at TCU and/or outside of TCU (but inside the state of Texas), including field work, service learning, practicums, internships, or volunteer positions
