Long Description (Catalog Description)

Prerequisite: STCO 11103, 16103, 32403, and 35503, and junior standing. Examines ethical issues and professional codes used in advertising, public relations and media. Students will look critically at current professional practices to develop an understanding of prominent ethical questions. Legal responsibilities and guidelines will also be discussed. Students must earn a C or higher in each strategic communication course required for credit toward completion of STCO major degree requirements.
