Long Description (Catalog Description)

Prerequisites: six semester hours in Biology. Two hour lectures and two hours of laboratory per week. This course introduces advanced undergraduate students to mammals. Lectures will examine the major topics of mammalian biology, including the evolutionary history, classification, adaptations, ecology, and natural history of mammals. Field techniques for the study of mammalian biodiversity and abundance will also be covered in this course. Field trips will be required. (Crosslisted as BIOL/ENSC 40173.)
