Prerequisites: Declared major or minor in Physics or Astronomy. A first year seminar for majors. Introduction of 'modern' physics and astrophysics ideas. Experimental, theoretical, observational, and computational research methods. Areas of application of physics to pure and applied research. Introduction to career opportunities in academic, industrial, and other settings. Physics educational experiences at TCU outside of the academic classroom.
