Long Description (Catalog Description)
Prerequisites: MARK 30153 with a grade of C- or higher and be a declared business major. Sports and Entertainment Marketing will build upon a marketing knowledge base and provide an overview of the issues faced by marketing managers both inside the sports and entertainment industry and outside the industry from firms that market through sports and entertainment. Students will introduced to the unique qualities of the sports product and also examine the promotion mix, pricing, and distribution issues as they relate to the sports industry.
