Long Description (Catalog Description)

Prerequisite: Permission of instructor. This course will introduce students to experimental techniques developed and used to investigate biological systems. It will discuss modern techniques used in the biomedical sciences, drug discovery and other biophysical and biochemical fields. The course includes lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises in the TCU Biophysics Laboratory and on instrumentation at the Center for Commercialization of Fluorescence Technologies (CCFT) at the UNT Health Sciences Center campus.
