Prerequisites: Major field of study within the College of Science & Engineering with 60 hours of coursework completed. Two hours of lecture and one three-hour laboratory period per week. This is a field course with potentially lengthyhikes and difficult terrain. Field experience is considered essential for a degree inenvironmental science or geology and the course offers instruction in fundamental field skills. (Crosslisted as GEOL/ENSC 30403.)
