In this course, students will explore the experiences of women in the history of Europe from 1789 to the present. Many of the topics and events will be familiar, industrialization, the French Revolution, the women's movement, the Russian Revolution, the World Wars, and the Cold War. Students will examine these events to investigate women's experiences and to discover women's contributions to the history of modern Europe. (EU)
