This course provides students with the basic scientific principles underlying major environmental/resource problems that confront the global community. The course will help develop the scientific knowledge and understanding of the major environmental problems associated with the air, water, land, and biota, as well as issues associated with population, biodiversity, energy, sustainability, and urbanization.
