Long Description (Catalog Description)

Prerequisites: Major in College of Science & Engineering, with 60 earned hours or graduate enrollment in SGEE. This course is designed to teach the basics of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments for students seeking a career in environmental consulting. At the completion of the course, students will understand the basics of performing environmental site assessments, the environmental regulatory framework, and the fundaments of site investigation. Students will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge they gain to real-life situations throughout the class.
