Prerequisites: ENGL 10803, ENGL 20803, and at least one 10000- or 20000-level ENGL/WRIT/CRWT course. This class will survey British literature from 1790-1830, examining the aesthetic movement of Romanticism in its social and historical context. Authors include Blake, Wordsworth, Coleridge, Barbauld, Byron, Percy and Mary Shelley, Keats, Hemans, and De Quincey.
