Long Description (Catalog Description)
Prerequisites: ENGL 10803, ENGL 20803, and at least one 10000- or 20000-level ENGL/WRIT/CRWT course. A study of U.S. women's writings from 1865 to the present, with attention to the ways the literature reflects, responds to, and shapes perceptions of women's roles, identities, and opportunities at various historical moments. Topics, authors, genres, and approaches may vary by semester. This course may be taken more than once for credit under different subheadings.
