Long Description (Catalog Description)

Prerequisites: PHYS 10154, high school algebra and trigonometry or MATH 10054, or approval of instructor. Three hours lecture and one 2-hour laboratory per week selected to reinforce the concepts discussed in lecture. Part two of a two-semester survey of general physics recommended for students in the life sciences and premedical program. Topics covered include electricity and magnetism, optics, atomic and nuclear physics. Emphasis will be given to the application of these concepts to problems in the life and health science. Credit will not be granted for this course and any of the following: PHYS 20484, 20485.
