Prerequisite: BIOL 20204, 20214, 20263, 20271, 20363; Concurrent: NURS 30263, 30182, 30171. This course begins the nursing student's education on the concepts of pharmacotherapeutics by establishing a knowledge base that applies to safety, patient care, and education. At the completion of this course, the student will understand the major drug classifications and the nurse's responsibility in relation to medication administration and the nursing process. Basic mathematics skills are also necessary.Standardized Exam Fee $205
