Long Description (Catalog Description)
Prerequisites: SOWO 10833 or permission of instructor. The course examines losses that elicit grief responses and explores ways the mourner finds meaning in life after a significant loss. We will look at a individual, family, and community level factors that can impact the grief experience of individuals and families. This course prepares students to work with clients on grief and loss.
