Long Description (Catalog Description)

Prerequisites: A declared business major or ENTR minor and ENTR 30533 with at least a grade of C. This course examines the changes likely to affect an entrepreneurial venture as it matures. The focus of the course is on how to effectively manage the growth of an entrepreneurial venture. Other implications of growth will also be discussed, such as changes in the strategy of the venture, performance downturns, sale or liquidation of the business, acquisition of another business, and initial public stock offerings.
