Long Description (Catalog Description)
Prerequisite: Basic Sign Language and Intermediate Sign Language or permission of the instructor to complete a proficiency assessment to determine sign language skills.
In this course, students will strengthen their expressive fluency and comprehension of American Sign Language (ASL) including advanced study of grammatical structure and signing technique. Students will deepen their knowledge of Deaf culture and increase their ability to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals in society.
