Prerequisite: THEA 11213. An intermediate/advanced course in Scene Design exploring the elements and principles of design as applied to live performance. Students will explore the process of analyzing a narrative through a designer's lens, developing ideas, translating those ideas into physical elements, discuss and apply research methods and presentation techniques, ultimately designing and presenting a preliminary scenic package for a scripted narrative.
