Long Description (Catalog Description)
Prerequisites: A 2.0 C grade or higher in FTDM 10153 or (FTDM 10113 and 10123); FTDM majors and Sports Broadcasting majors only. This course provides an intensive overview of radio, TV, and film business practices, including the structure of media companies; how media conceptualize and measure their audience; strategies (i.e., promotion, advertising) media companies use to attract an audience, and regulatory structures that govern the radio, TV, and film industries.
