Long Description (Catalog Description)
Prerequisite: A grade of C or higher in each of the gateway courses STCO 23113 and 23123; and a combined GPA of 2.5 or higher in these courses; and a C- or higher in MATH 10043 or INSC 20153 (Statistics) or equivalent. Introduces qualitative and quantitative research methods and metrics commonly used in advertising and public relations. The class emphasizes the use of research to shape decisions. Students must earn a C or higher in each strategic communication course required for credit toward completion of STCO major degree requirements.
