Long Description (Catalog Description)

Prerequisite: Music Major. This course introduces foundational skills for playing and teaching the trumpet and horn, with emphasis on beginning-level pedagogy. Students develop functional performance ability, essential tone production and articulation techniques, and pedagogical strategies for introducing and sequencing early instruction in both homogeneous and heterogeneous ensemble settings.
