Long Description (Catalog Description)
Prerequisite: KINE 10603 and BIOL 20214, TCU cumulative GPA and KINE major GPA of 2.5 or higher, or instructor permission. The study of the neuropharmacology and neurophysiology of various exercises commonly utilized to treat and manage various types of hypokinetic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity. The interactions between the nervous system and exercise will be examined. In addition, the neurophysiological effects of various exercise interventions commonly used by athletes and other exercising individuals willbe studied.
