3 hours. Prerequisite: FINA 30153 with a grade of at least C-, and must be a declared Business major or Finance minor. Investment management from the perspective of the individual investor. Financial analysis of stocks, bonds, and other financial instruments. An examination of the securities markets and the trade-off between risk and return. Attention to contemporary investment problems.
