Long Description (Catalog Description)
Prerequisites: MATH 10043 and SOWO 10833, or permission of instructor. Students will learn the scientific method and how to conduct evidence-based practice. Students will learn how to find, read, and assess research studies found in academic articles and apply what they learn to social work practice. Knowledge, values, and skills taught in this course align with the generalist practice approach.
