Long Description (Catalog Description)

One of the prerequisites for higher-level psychology courses. An introduction to the science of psychology, including basic brain and behavioral processes, memory and cognition, human development, social behavior, and psychological disorders. Integrates biological, social, cognitive, and learning influences on behavior and addresses the role of cultural differences and diversity. Credit cannot be given for both PSYC 10213 and either 10514 or 10524.
