Prerequisites: ENGR 10032, PHYS 20473/20474, and credit for, or concurrent enrollment in MATH 30613 and one of COSC 10403, COSC 10503, COSC 10603, ENGR 10573. Kinematics and kinetics of a particle. Work-energy and impulse-momentum methods for particles. Planar kinematics and kinetics of a rigid body. Work-energy and impulse-momentum methods for rigid bodies. Free and forced response of damped single-degree-of-freedom systems.
