Long Description (Catalog Description)
Prerequisites: ENGL 10803 and ENGL 20803. The second of two period surveys in British literature, this one spanning from 1800 through the present. This course considers literary antecedents, the conventions of various genres, the cultural circumstances of composition, and interpretive strategies. Students may take both courses or either course. Student cannot receive credit for ENGL 55273 and ENGL 30123.
